Does this tool upload my ZPL file anywhere?
No. Your file is read and converted entirely inside your browser, in a background Web Worker. Nothing is uploaded to Servicxy or anyone else, and nothing is stored once you close or reload the page.
What is ZPL?
ZPL (Zebra Programming Language) is a text-based command language thermal label printers use to draw text, barcodes and boxes. It is not a printable image on its own - it has to be interpreted by a printer or a renderer like this tool.
Why can't I just print the ZPL file directly?
A ZPL file is authored for a specific printer resolution - Amazon Vendor Central's labels assume 300 DPI. If your thermal printer is a lower resolution (203 DPI is the common, cheaper spec), sending that ZPL straight to the printer prints the label at the wrong physical size, so one-click label printing doesn't work correctly. Converting to a PDF first fixes this, since a PDF is resolution-independent and always prints at the correct physical size regardless of your printer's native DPI.
Which sellers need this?
Amazon Vendor Central sellers on the Direct Fulfillment (DF) program. Vendor Central gives you your invoice as a ready PDF, but the shipping label only as raw ZPL - this tool converts that label to a PDF too, so both print correctly together.
Are the barcodes on the converted PDF actually scannable?
Yes. Both barcode types on a Vendor Central label (the Code128 AWB barcode and the Data Matrix sortation code) are re-generated as real barcode symbols from the exact data encoded in your ZPL file - not a picture of the original, a fresh, correctly-encoded barcode.
What if my ZPL file has more than one label in it?
Each label in the file becomes its own page in the downloaded PDF, in the same order as the file.
Does this work with ZPL from other marketplaces or carriers?
This tool is built and verified specifically against real Amazon Vendor Central Direct Fulfillment ZPL exports. Other ZPL files using the same standard commands (text, barcodes, boxes) will generally convert correctly too, but only the Vendor Central format has been checked field-by-field against a real reference label.
Does this work on mobile?
Yes, the page and the upload flow both work on a phone browser, though downloading and printing the resulting PDF is usually easier from a desktop.
